The U.S. Government’s Open Violations of Law, Part 1:
Arrest of Embassy Protectors
Article 22 of the Vienna Convention. The premises of a diplomatic mission, such as an embassy, are inviolable and must not be entered by the host country except by permission of the head of the mission. Furthermore, the host country must protect the mission from intrusion or damage. The host country must never search the premises, nor seize its documents or property. Article 30 extends this provision to the private residence of the diplomats. (Ratified by the U.S. back in the days when America cared something about law and peace)
On May 15, 2019, U.S. Secret Service and State Department special agents and D.C. Police broke and entered the premises of the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington D.C. in violation of the Vienna Convention. In doing so they damaged the building in violation of the Vienna Conventions. They had previously caused and/or supervised damaging acts to the building, also in violation of the Vienna Conventions. They had previously attempted to starve and dehydrate lawful occupants of the building and thereby committed crimes against humanity. After illegally entering the building, the agents, in violation of international law, arrested the occupants who were there by permission of the Venezuelan Government. Not one current American leader Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has spoken out against these illegal actions.
Although Russiagate is nothing more than a disproven conspiracy theory, the U.S. Government’s actions regarding the Venezuelan Embassy and its protectors are grounds for impeaching and removing Donald Trump and other members of his Administration from office. However, as most Democratic members of Congress are supportive of these high crimes and misdemeanors, they would also have to impeach themselves.

The four INVITED GUESTS of the Venezuelan Government who were arrested in the illegal raid were Kevin Zeese, Margaret Flowers, Adrienne Pine and David Paul. To the majority of the American people, each of these individual heroes deserves the Medal of Freedom. Across America, people have rallied in support of the Maduro Government that was Democratically elected by the Venezuelan people who was re-elected in May, 2018, receiving 67% of the vote, making him more popular than any American President is well over half a century. International election monitors have sent a letter to the United Nations certifying that Maduro's 2018 election was fair and accurate. Any reports to the contrary are flat-out lies pushed by those with an economic interest in replacing the democratically-elected government with a violently aristocratic oil dictatorship.
The Embassy Protection Collective has stood up for the principles upon which America was founded, for democracy and freedom and for the legitimately-elected government of Venezuela. Less than 20% of Venezuelans had ever heard of the Never-Elected CIA-Puppet Juan Guaido before he announced his presidency. A similar situation would be if Speaker of the California Assembly Anthony Rendon (almost as unpopular as Juan Guaido) announced that he was President of the United States. Actually, that’s not fair. More Americans know who Anthony Rendon is than knew who Juan Guaido was at the time he announced, following a call Guaido received from Michael Pence telling th -American-trained CIA-puppet to announce. Though Guaido only represents a white supremacist minority that wants to remove rights and power from the Black and Indian majority, he can’t even put even together a credible coup as his support is so minimal. He has failed in multiple coup attempts sponsored by the Trump Administration.

The one person who was able to get food and water and batteries through to the Embassy Protectors was Reverend Jesse Jackson. Accompanied by former Vice Presidential candidate Ajamu Baracka and other peace supporters, those bringing life-saving supplies to the Protectors were violently attacked by Guaido’s gang. In addition to assaulting the those bringing the food and water, Guaido’s right-wing mob kept grabbing and attempting to steal the necessary supplies. Though the Secret Service did not stop the delivery, they watched and allowed the assaults and other crimes committed by Guaido’s gang to continue. The federal officials had stopped other deliveries and had violently arrested people trying to deliver food and water to the Embassy Protectors.
The actions of the Secret Service and the State Department and D.C. Police with respect to the Embassy were all in violation of the Vienna Convention and international law. It appears that the U.S. Government believes it can ignore and violate the law whenever it chooses to do so. The mass media is also complicit in encouraging the violations of international law and in covering up violent crimes being committed by Guaido supporters upon the people of Venezuela and upon citizens of the United States. Many observers are now calling the United States, "a rogue terrorist nation." The MSM has fallen into disfavor with most Americans and is now trying to censor real news. This is tragic for all who were brought up believing that America was a good nation with altruistic motives and for those who used to look up to MSM news personalities as actual journalists. How does one defend the actions of the U.S. Government when its crimes are caught on video for the world to see? How does one defend the MSM when it actively hides criminal actions that benefit the war machine?
The violence of the Guido supporters against American citizens was extreme. The Strategic Culture Foundation described the misconduct by the Guaido gang against Americans in the article Who’s Behind the Pro-Guaido Crowd Besieging Venezuela’s D.C. Embassy.

On April 30 – the same day self-proclaimed “president” Juan Guaidó staged a failed military coup – pro-Guaidó Venezuelans initiated their siege of the embassy. As they converged on the premises, some unleashed a wave of violent, misogynistic, and racist attacks on peace activists both inside and outside the building.
Some of the pro-Guaidó militants are believed to have since carried out physical attacks, made death threats, and harassed the family members of embassy defenders. Some are also believed to have committed acts of property destruction, wrecked the tents of activists, and ransacked an embassy office while promoting ultra-Zionism and praising President Donald Trump and the police. TeleSUR’s correspondent Alina Duarte has faced a torrent of threats from some of the pro-Guaidó extremists, returning home one night to find that someone had attempted to break into and enter her apartment.
In his article In Venezuela, White Supremacy is a Key to Trump’s Coup, Greg Palast explains that the pro-Guaido Coup is one of white extremist minority over the Black and Mestizo majority in Venezuela. Greg, who has been a reporter for the BBC, the London Guardian and Rolling Stone Magazine, is one of hundreds of international election monitors who have observed and verified the election of Nicolas Maduro. He is considered the foremost election expert in the United States. President Jimmy Carter stated that the elections system in which Nicolas Maduro was twice elected is the "best election system in the world."

When I see the images and hear the chants of the anti-Chavista demonstrators now, I’m also reminded of what I saw at a Trump rally in Macon, Georgia, this past November. The president slid out of Air Force One to tell the crowd – heavily weighted with white supremacists – that they needed to take back their country from those “invading” the border. Trump told them to fear gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who is Black, saying she would “turn Georgia into Venezuela.”
I don’t think Trump was talking about Abrams’ program to bring universal health care to Georgia, as Chavez did for Venezuela.
The US press is quick to condemn the racial hatred on display at Trump rallies. But I have yet to hear or read in the US press what our eyes can see in the three photos from Venezuela: an uprising of white people wanting to “take back their country.”
The same day the Embassy was illegally raided, Chelsea Manning was subjected to imprisonment again for refusing to testify in a secret proceeding without an attorney present. The illegalities surrounding the re-arrest of Chelsea Manning will be discussed in Part 2.
Past Presidential candidates Jill Stein and Cynthia McKinney are active supporters of the legitimate Maduro Government. Cindy Sheehan, the founder of Gold Star Mothers for Peace and a former Vice Presidential candidate, is also standing strong against regime change in Venezuela. Also taking a firm stand in support of the elected Maduro Government are Redacted Tonight's Lee Camp, Jimmy Dore of The Jimmy Dore Show and Niko House of Mi Casa Es Su Casa. Lee Camp has been very active in supporting and encouraging support for the Embassy Protection Collective.
The only other 2020 Presidential candidate who has spoken in support of international law, The Constitution of the United States and the current democratically elected Government of Venezuela is Mike Gravel, former U.S. Senator from Alaska. Gravel supports Gabbard's Presidential bid because of her courage to stand up and speak out on important issues, such as her opposition to regime-change wars. Other civil rights activists, such as Roger Waters and Oliver Stone have come out in support of Tulsi Gabbard. Gravel, Waters and Stone all support the Venezuelan people in their right to choose their President and the Venezuelan people have chosen Nicolas Maduro. Though Ron Paul is from the other side of the aisle, he says Tulsi is the best of the Presidential candidates. Paul agrees with Tulsi's opposition to sanctions and regime changer in Venezuela and elsewhere.
