Does Obama's endorsement of Hillary Clinton Constitute "High Crimes and Misdemeanors?"
by H. Samson
June 10, 2016. Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Under Section 2, it is the House that has been given the sole power of impeachment. Bill Clinton, Hillary's husband was impeached but not for the kind of crimes of which Hillary Clinton has been accused. The Senate is given the power to try the matter after the House votes to impeach. Bill Clinton did hang onto his Presidency, but he had not been accused of any crimes more serious than sex and lying to the American public.
Hillary Clinton's alleged crimes involved the overthrow of the election process and thereby the legitimate government via massive documented election fraud and crimes, receiving bribes in exchange for arms given to possible enemies of the United States, misappropriation of disaster donation that were received by false pretences, receiving bribes, possible sedition and treason, violations of the Espionage Act of 1917, violating the Records Act and thereby providing top secret information to enemies of our country that endangered the government and military personal and people of the United States of America.
But Hillary would not be up for impeachment at this time--- though the 2017 Congress could make this their first act of business if she winds up President.
In the case of Barack Obama, his Administration is charged with upholding the law. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who is in Obama's Administration, is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer and Chief Prosecutor of the U.S. Government.
When a President endorses someone under a criminal investigation, how can he remain impartial and say he is pursuing the investigation that the FBI believes must be pursued? Has Obama abandoned his duties as President of the United States and started serving Hillary Clinton and her backers while abandoning the American people? So it would appear. Loretta Lynch, if she fails to seek an indictment of Hillary Clinton, might also be committing impeachable offenses herself. At the least, Lynch is apparently failing to fulfill the duties of her office if she fails to see an indictment.
Now what was the Oath Obama took when taking office?
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Many of the crimes of which Hillary Clinton is accused, such as the misuse of her private email server, providing top secret information to the enemies of the country, endangering the lives of American military personnel, receiving bribes in exchange for arms, etc., took place while she was Secretary of State and working for Barack Obama. This somewhat implicates him--especially when he endorses her and thereby her conduct.
As part of Obama's oath of office, preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States, it is his duty to make sure that elections take place in accordance with the Constitution. In endorsing Hilary Clinton, it appears that Obama is endorsing election fraud and by implication, the overthrow of the Constitution of the United States. Unlike the case of Bill Clinton (sex, lying to the American public), Obama's endorsement of Hillary Clinton would appear to constitute real high crimes and misdemeanors on a scale of that envisioned by the founders of the United States when they wrote the Constitution.
Obama could take back his endorsement and claim it was a mistake and he would never abandon the Constitution of the United States. Or he could pursue his current course. If he continues to assist Clinton, a candidate under investigation for serious felonies against the people of the United States, then it is likely that those Democrats who were disenfranchised and those Democrats who support the Constitution of the United States will support the Republicans, should the Republicans act to impeach Obama.
Most people view the birther claims as nonsensical and erroneous. Even if true, Obama's mother was an American and Hawaiian law allows a Hawaiian mother to register the birth of her foreign born child within one year of that birth, making the child a natural born citizen. It is an argument that only turns off people who have studied the Constitution.
With Democrats and Republicans united against Clinton, Obama may have done to his legacy what Republicans were unable to do. Whether impeached or not, Obama will be remembered as the President who abandoned the Constitution of the United States, and endorsed election fraud and a wide assortment of crimes against America and the overthrow of democracy in America and thereby of the upcoming legitimate Government of the Untied States of America.
