Tulsi Proves She's the People's Candidate, Fighting for Freedom, Peace and the Environment
(Video)
April 13, 2019. Greater Los Angeles Area. Like a super-candidate from Krypton, Tulsi whirled through the Southland focusing on the people and their concerns about the future. She started her birthday on the 12th surfing near the nuclear waste storage facility formerly known as SONGS (San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. While in operation, SONGS was classified as one of the two most dangerous reactors in the country. The Justice Gazette reporters reported extensively on the efforts to close down SONGS. The other most dangerous plant (Indian Point) is expected to be closed in 2021. Indian Point’s Unit 2 plant will be closed in 2020.
Though the reactors at SONGS have been closed down, canisters of nuclear waste sit on the shore, where they pose a contamination risk to residents of five of the largest counties in California. This is the first time a Presidential candidate has addressed the danger posed by the nuclear waste left at San Onofre. The Government has plans to ship this toxic waste to indigenous land in New Mexico, where it is also not wanted. This is a form of environmental racism. Tulsi’s State of Hawaii has been devastated by the effects of Fukushima. Studies at UC Berkeley and elsewhere have shown serious radioactive contamination of the Continental U.S. food supply as well. (Check out the extensive data on the Fukushima contamination within the U.S. at the Environmental Reporter’s website. ) Tulsi wants to end the threats posed by nuclear power plants by switching to safe, environmentally-friendly forms of energy.
The nuclear threat extends further to the threat of nuclear war, a real possibility with the cancellation of the IMF Treaty. On her birthday evening, Tulsi informed a Culver City audience that missiles in violation of that Treaty were already being manufactured. The doomsday clock has placed the world closer to nuclear annihilation than ever before in its history. Tulsi is the only candidate speaking out to end this nuclear crisis.
After visiting San Onofre, one of Tulsi’s stops was skid row in Los Angeles. How many Presidential candidates spend their birthday talking to residents of skid row? It is a tragic area with homeless people everywhere. She considers income inequality to be a significant cause of homelessness. The price of homes in California has skyrocketed and the homeless have no way to afford a roof over their head. As previously reported by the Justice Gazette, there are seven empty foreclosed-upon homes for every homeless person in America. The banks have the money and the power and every American is at risk of losing their home. Tulsi wants to restore and protect the rights of the people. As for all those social programs Bernie and Kucinich advocated, they will become reality if Tulsi becomes President
In Culver City, Tulsi spoke to a packed room that was again too small for the number of attendees. It was standing room only, half an hour before Tulsi arrived. Several individuals who.had identified themselves as undecided upon arrival, left the event firmly backing Tulsi for President. The event had not been publicized but that did not stop a large crowd from arriving in the hopes of getting a glimpse of their favorite 2020 candidate.
Among the many issues Tulsi addressed was Net Neutrality. She recently voted for a bill to restore Net Neutrality but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said it is dead on arrival in the Senate.
Two individuals, who had known Tulsi when she was a child in Hawaii, showed up eager to watch her presentation. Umeko Walker said she had known Tulsi for 30 years. Umeko described Tulsi as awesome, genuine, compassionate, and directed. She said that, when Tulsi was a young girl she was very shy and studious. Devi Jokieo, who has known Tulsi since she was about twelve, stated that Tulsi is a wonderful person, studious, strong and honest.

After her Culver City speech, the hosts presented Tulsi with two dozen roses brought to the event by the reporting staff of the Justice Gazette in honor of Tulsi’s birthday and with a birthday cake.
Michael Ungerleider and Stephanie Serna sang “It’s Tulis Time” with a special verse they had written. In honor of Tulsi’s 38th birthday. Yes, Tulsi will be the youngest President to take office if elected next year.
After the event, Tulsi spoke about the danger to freedom of the press presented by the arrest of Julian Assange. A video of her comments regarding Assange is below, along with a video of her speech in Culver City and other videos from the weekend..

Tulsi wasn’t finished with working to rescue Los Angeles, though. On Saturday, she organized a clean-up of MacArthur Park. She literally and personally worked to drain the swamp, pulling trash up out of the lake as part of the clean-up.
Also helping her clean was her sister Brindavin Bellord. Tulsi’s husband Abraham Williams took videos of the clean-up work as Tulsi and her team of environmental volunteers went around the entire park, picking up trash. Abraham has been present at all his wife’s events, documenting them on video.

Tulsi’s work to make life better for the people, her opposition to war and sanctions and her opposition to the arrest of Assange has made her a favorite candidate. There is a continuing fear about election-rigging as the Establishment is afraid of Tulsi and has reportedly changed the debate rules against populist candidates like Tulsi, now that Tulsi has met all the qualifications the rules required before the rules changed. Many Democrats are calling this foul play. Tulsi has introduced a bill calling for voter-verifiable paper ballots. Election rights activists have long asked for a return to paper ballots as computers can be hacked and easily rigged.
While Tulsi picked up trash in MacArthur Park, many people could be seen walking over to her to thank her for her support for Assange. Many of the top activists from Bernie’s 2016 Presidential campaign have made the decision to switch to Tulsi Gabbard. Most people consider them to be a pair and expect them to be running mates and Tulsi and Bernie are good friend. Tulsi's courage to speak out on the issues where others fear to speak have made activists declare she is one candidate with the courage to stand up on behalf of the people any time the people need her.
